Aurous is from Temecula, CA. and originally had three members; Shawn (Vocals and Guitar), Brendan (Bass), and Nick (Drums). The band has since added Adam on guitar and Cris (from "Swerve"), on drums... replacing Nick. Adding the new guitarist allowed Shawn to lead on vocals. With Cris's experience of studio recording and touring, he added a new flavor to the band and sealed a distinct style. Aurous went on to record its first demo "Shattered Glass" last March. I asked the band about their genre and got this reply... "Call us what you want... just enjoy". Some influences come from 311 and Incubus. The band is about 7 months old,.they are very confident and ready for any challenge!
